Ceiling surprise

I was drinking my morning coffee today and my partner was on the phone with her mom, when she suddenly started gesturing to get my attention and pointing at the living room ceiling.

I looked up and there was a red line… moving. I got a stool, a glass, and a piece of cardboard and removed this little beauty.

I’m glad it wasn’t one of those really fast moving centipedes or things might have ended badly. Some of them have a nasty bite, and standing in my bathrobe balanced on a rickety stool would not be the time to panic and jump.

The centipede was safely returned to the outdoors.
